Rev. Arman Arenbayev
Pastor in Almaty and LYNC representative in Kazakhstan.

Arman Arenbayev was born in 1976 into a Soviet family of university professors. He graduated in 1999 from the Geography Department of Kazakh State University (KazMU), earning a master’s degree in geography and geomorphology. Between 1998 and 1999, Arman worked for the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan before transitioning into Christian mission work in 1999. In 2011, he became the senior pastor of the Presbyterian Church “Almagul” and currently serves as the chairman of the Union of Reformed Churches of Kazakhstan.

Since January 2023, Arman has also served as the LYNC representative in Kazakhstan, furthering his commitment to promoting religious freedom and social cohesion. Arman is also actively engaged in fostering multi-faith relationships and promoting interfaith collaboration. In 2024, he deepened this commitment by completing training as a multi-faith retreat trainer at the MFNN-LYNC hosted Train-the-Trainers event in Arizona. His work in building bridges between diverse faith communities highlights his dedication to dialogue and mutual understanding across different religious traditions. He is married with three children and is a passionate supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
